In 1966, the Turin coachbuilder Pietro Frua, a prominent car designer in Italy in the 1960s, presented a coach built 230 SLX Shooting Brake inspired from the 2-seater Mercedes-Benz 230 SL Pagoda Roadster

Even for 1964, this car has so much nein. I can’t believe it was conceived by anyone considered a prominent coach builder.

I totally desagree.
It’s a very interesting design combining à sports image to a shooting break.
I remember seeing this car in Geneva at the time.
